During my recent stay at Palace Point Hotel, I was incredibly impressed with the location. It was situated in the heart of Sultanahmet, making it the perfect base for exploring all the tourist sites. Additionally, the value for money was excellent, especially considering the budget-friendly price point. The hotel itself may have been in need of renovation, but it had a charming and cozy atmosphere that added to its unique character. Plus, I couldn't have asked for a more attentive and friendly staff member than Giorgiy, who went above and beyond to ensure my room was up to scratch.

Great Value Hotel
I recently stayed in a budget-friendly hotel in Istanbul. The location was fantastic, as all the popular tourist spots were just a few minutes away. The hotel provided clean sheets and towels throughout all six nights of my stay, allowing me to have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Additionally, the staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure that my needs were met. The hotel also provided reliable Wi-Fi, which allowed me to keep in touch with my friends and family back home.
The hotel was old, with dated furniture and décor, which could use an update. There was also a not-so-pleasant smell in the communal areas of the hotel. Furthermore, the hotel's Wi-Fi speed was a bit slow, which may hinder the stay of business travellers as they need access to faster internet. Despite these issues, the hotel was still a good option for those on a tight budget who need a decent place to stay while enjoying the sights of Istanbul.

Located in the heart of the historic city center, this hotel is a perfect base for exploring the nearby underground railway and tram stations. the polite and friendly staff, along with comfortable rooms, make for a pleasant stay. the hotel offers hot water and tasty tea throughout the day and the owner is happy to help with local recommendations.
While the room was cozy and welcoming, the Wi-Fi speeds could be improved for those who need to work remotely.

Had a wonderful Xmas at a hotel with great value for money. Location, location, location! Walking distance from all the main tourist spots, can’t beat that. Hot water and comfortable bed were just what I needed. Also, the free breakfast had eggs and local bread, a perfect start to my day. The staff was helpful and friendly, they helped me get around the city, and gave me great recommendations on local food spots.
The newly renovated rooms are great, but the older ones felt a bit dingy and could've been cleaner. The bathroom was not the newest, but it worked fine. The view was not great, but then again I wasn’t there for the view. Lastly, the wifi was a bit spotty, but it was still usable. All in all, it was a great stay, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable stay in the heart of the city.
